The HUC-JIR College Commons is a digital, learning platform for adult learning and Confirmation classes that offers unique, topical and scholarly content to congregations, schools, JCCs, Hillels and other educational institutions worldwide. The one-time fee includes ongoing access to the Commons Library, including: 

  • The Making Prayer Real Course video curriculum and course
  • Why Bother multi-media, online course for teenagers
  • Where is God in Reform Judaism video curriculum and course
  • Interviews for Teaching videos and study guides
  • Rav's Turntables parsha resources

The College Commons materials are licensed to your institution, and may be used in any regular activity sponsored by your community. They may not be copied or lent to other institutions or individuals. 

Purchase cost is based on the size of your congregation.  Canadian congregations pay the listed price in Canadian dollars.

Union of Reform Judaism congregations:
  • Level 1: 0-150 units = $350
  • Level 2: 151-599 units = $450
  • Level 3: 600+ units = $550

Non-URJ congregations:
  • Level 1: 0-150 units = $420
  • Level 2: 151-599 units = $540
  • Level 3: 600+ units = $660
